Happy first day of autumn!  I had several conversations today with clients, old and new, who are hoping to capture the fall colours in their sessions.  I’ve heard we’re expecting a spectacular display this season, so my hopes are high!  Fall sessions are almost full, so if you’re thinking that you’d like to capture some extra colour in your session, drop me a note.

This morning I received a fantastic email from a mom who is bouncing around ideas for our upcoming session.  I love the thought she’s putting into the wardrobe selections for the entire family!  Great wardrobe = great shots.  I encourage all my clients to get creative with their wardrobe selections for the day and to consider lots of options and changes for our session.  Hats, boots, scarves, jackets, stripes, dots, cool rock ‘n’ roll stuff – it’s all lots of fun.  Cute hairstyles are fab, too!  I pulled some images that I love partly because of the wardrobe.

Then again, nothing at all is pretty nice, too…

Well, we’re back in town and enjoying the heat and the reactions to Nate’s new haircut. He’s been rockin’ a brush cut for a couple of months now and he truly does look like a different kid. It’s so easy to wash his hair – I’m tempted to get the same hairdo! Here he is laying on the kitchen table. Yes, we do have rules around here. And they involve laying on the kitchen table.

Also lots of fun are Jackson and Roxy, two of my all time favourite subjects. These kids are picture perfect. I love this one of Roxy looking at her big brother. Pics of their new baby brother coming soon!
